Unsettled for much of the month but a better start and end

After unsettled conditions in August it does look likely that September continues the unsettled theme. However, the start and end of the month should bring better windows of fair weather.

*30/8/17 - 5/9/17*
A fair start to September with a ridge of high pressure building.
There should be some drier days and sunny spells. Feeling warm for some.
A higher risk of rain affecting western Scotland and western Ireland.

*6/9/17 - 12/9/17*
Probably turning more unsettled during this week as low pressure again affects many areas.
There will be periods of rain followed by showers. It may be windy at ties too with temperatures close to average and perhaps cold in Scotland.

*13/9/17 - 19/9/17*
Staying unsettled with low pressure again bringing unsettled weather. There will be plenty of cloud and some periods of rain as well as strong winds. Feeling cool once again.

*20/9/17 - 26/9/17*
Starting unsettled with more rain. However, an improvement taking place later in the week as a ridge of higher pressure builds.

*27/9/17 to 4/10/17*
The month may end on a more settled note.
Sunny spells and dry conditions. Days may be warm but the nights could be cooler under clearer skies.
