Cool & breezy
Sunny spells

Remaining cloud and rain quickly clearing south, then bright and cool with showers in north

Good morning,

It will be cloudy for the next couple of hours across southern England as a cold front clears to the south. Some outbreaks of rain running along the front too, but these should also fade quite quickly. Following the front is a brisk northwest flow which is bringing much brighter conditions to many.

There are some showers in north and west Scotland and these are expected to continue. There could be one or two showers throughout this afternoon in the same locations, although for most of us it is going to be dry with some good spells of sunshine.

Tonight sees a few showers again affecting northern coasts, but for most the night will be dry and chilly with some clearer skies.
