Light winds

Good morning,

High pressure centred over southern Britain will encompass the British Isles bringing a fair day for most places. Sunshine for many, generally best toward the east, although fair weather cloud will tend to fill in through the day inland.

Generally cloudy across north-western areas, whilst a weak warm front brings thicker cloud and spots of rain or drizzle to western Scotland.

A light south-westerly breeze for northern Britain, but very little wind for central & southern regions. Slight sea breezes. Some low cloud and mist patches for the English Channel.

Today's top temperatures will reach a humid 23 to 25C for the Midlands, south & eastern England. Nearer 19 to 22C for Wales & the north-west, and 15C for north-west Scotland. Fresher near the coast.

Have a great day.
