Breezy in the west
Good morning,
Low pressure is over the north Atlantic to the north-west of the British Isles. A ridge of high pressure extends from Biscay across southern England.
Fair weather for many, with sunny spells, although the south-east starts rather dull with some residual rain. Small risk of a shower across England & Wales by afternoon, but most places staying dry.
A scattering of showers breaking out for Scotland & Ireland, locally heavy and frequent with isolated thunder by afternoon.
A south-westerly breeze, strongest in the west. Today's top temperatures will be 17 to 21C, warmest in the south-east, but less humid than previous days.
Have a great day. Garry
