Murky, humid
Some sun east

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 13th October 2017
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Rain and drizzle north-west

Good morning,

A very warm south to south-westerly airflow affects the British Isles this weekend. High pressure is positioned broadly over Europe, whilst areas of low pressure lie to the north & west of the British Isles.

A slow-moving warm front affects the north-west of Britain and Ireland, bringing rain and drizzle. A murky start for many, and skies staying widely overcast in the west & north.

Some sunshine breaking through in central & eastern districts. Fog patches may linger around coasts in the south-west. A fresh southerly breeze around western coasts, otherwise winds fairly light.

Today's top temperatures will reach 20C where sunshine develops in the east, and also locally to the north of high ground elsewhere. Otherwise, a humid 14 to 17C.

Have a great day.
Garry
