Morning Call - June 26, 2017
Fair and dry
Rain tonight in north

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 26 June 2017
Duty forecaster: John Ejdowski

A very unsettled week to come for Britain with heavy rain and strong winds. Today though may be the best day of the week with much of England and Wales to have a dry day. Best of the sunshine will be in the morning with more cloud for the afternoon. For Northern Ireland and western Scotland we'll see rain here later in the afternoon after a cloudy but dry morning. Highs will range from 13 to 17 Celsius in the north to 18 to 22 Celsius in the south.

This evening and tonight it becomes windy, especially in the north and the west. An area of moderate to heavy rain across Northern Ireland spreads into much of Scotland tonight and perhaps reaches north west England before morning. A cloudy night but dry across the rest of England and Wales. Expect minimum temperatures of 11 to 15 Celsius.

If you are heading abroad it's looking warm across much of Europe with thunderstorms across the Balkans and Adriatic.
