Patchy rain to the south, dry for most with bright spells

Good morning,

Plenty of cloud across Wales and southern England this morning bringing some outbreaks of rain and drizzle, mostly but not exclusively over coasts and hills. Brighter across the north of Wales, northern England and Scotland as well as much of Ireland this morning and mostly dry.
 


This afternoon sees further cloud to the south and some spots of rain here again, but these becoming more persistent to the southwest. Heavier rain reaches western Scotland during this afternoon, the winds increasing here too.


Tonight is breezy and damp in Ireland and western Scotland. The rain reaching Wales later.
