A breezy day across northern Scotland today as a weather front brings in spells of rain and drizzle. Most of the rain will be in the west. A lot of cloud to come across western Scotland and Northern Ireland but a dry day is likely. Across England and Wales it will be a hot, summer's day with sunny skies. Sea breezes will develop in the afternoon making it feel a bit cooler around the coasts. Expect maximums of 19 to 28 Celsius.


Sunday Night
Through the course of the course of the evening and night it's going to remain breezy and damp across northern parts of Scotland with spells of mainly light rain and drizzle. A fine dry evening to come across England and Wales with lots of sunshine to end the day. It continues dry in the night with clear spells. A very warm night in the south. Expect minimum temperatures of 13 to 15 Celsius in the north but a muggy 17 to 21 Celsius in the south.


Monday
Another hot, summery day ahead across England and Wales. Overall here it will be dry and mostly sunny but there is a slight risk of a shower across Wales and perhaps the Midlands. More cloudy across Scotland and Northern Ireland with scattered showers, most of these light. Any showers tend to fade in the early evening with sunny spells. A dry, warm night across Britain with clear spells and some patchy ground fog and patchy low cloud in places by morning. Expect highs of tops of 20 to 29 Celsius.


Tuesday
It remains hot across England and Wales and overall a similar day to Monday. There is a small chance of a late afternoon shower across Wales and south west England, maybe the Midlands too but it most likely stays dry. Best of the sunshine ay be found across Northern Ireland, western Scotland and southern parts of England. Elsewhere more in the way of cloud filters on from the east. Fair and dry into the evening and night. Expect highs of 17 to 29 Celsius.
