Thursday
A much brighter and drier day to come across England and Wales. There may be some patchy rain in the far southeast very early in the morning although this clears quickly east. Sunny spells affecting most areas, although there will be some showers across Ireland and western Scotland. Scattered showers into the afternoon although mostly dry. An odd heavier shower could affect Scotland and Ireland. Highs at 14 to 18C.


Thursday Night
An area of thundery rain could drift into the southeast and across East Anglia. Elsewhere the night should be dry with clearer spells. Some showers affecting western Scotland and more persistent showers into the west of Ireland. Becoming breezy in Ireland too. Lows at 4 to 8C.
 


Friday
Low pressure drifts up the eastern coasts on Friday. This takes an area of rain with it, passing north through East Anglia and into northeast England. The rain eventually reaches eastern Scotland by late afternoon. Further west there will be some bright spells in the morning, the best in the west. Showers then develop and these become heavy here and there in the afternoon. Further heavy showers in Ireland and western Scotland. Tops at 14 to 16C.


Saturday
Low pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Saturday. This is going to bring a showery day to all. Some sunny spells in the morning but showers soon developing and becoming heavy. There is a risk of thunder and hail with local flooding in the heavier rain. An area of more persistent rain may affect Scotland. Tops at 12 to 17C.
