Thundery rain approaches from south
Torrential, thundery showers tonight

Sunday

More cloud to come in the north in the morning with the south having some hazy sunshine as an area off thundery rain approaches from the channel. There is a risk of some heavy, thundery type showers into the far south of England in the afternoon. Confidence isn't real high on the specific areas to be affected or the timing. Expect maximums of 18 to 24 Celsius.

Sunday Night
It becomes increasing windy through the evening and night, particularly overnight across Wales and the south west of England. In the evening an arcing band of heavy, thundery rain may track up into Wales and the far south of England then this is expected to push into central then northern parts of England and East Anglia overnight giving some torrential downpours of rain that may bring the risk of local flash flooding. A mild night to come with minimum temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.

Monday
A rather breezy day to come across Britain. That area of heavy, thundery rain continues moving into northern Britain during the morning with a number of showers in the south. It is likely to stay overcast with some rain across the northern half of Britain while showers persist in the south. Somewhat drier conditions to come in the south in the evening with rain and showers in the north. Heavier rain may affect Scotland in the night with the south largely dry. Expect highs of tops of 14 to 22 Celsius.

Tuesday

The rain in the north and the showers in the south tend to clear in the evening with most places to have dry night with clear spells.
