Thursday 8/3/18
Low pressure is again in control on Thursday, being centred off western Scotland. There is much uncertainty in the detail of the weather for Thursday, but for now we expect a period of rain through England and Wales and for all but the southeast to be cooler. This may be heavy and thundery before clearing eastwards. Showers for northern England and western Scotland as well as Ireland. The showers heavy and turning to snow over the western Highlands. Highs at 4 to 7C for most, 10C in the far southeast.

Friday 9/3/18
Low pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Friday and it will be a cooler day for all. There will be cloud and rain in the south, some of this heavy in places. Showers affecting the far north of Scotland, possibly heavy. In between it should be dry with some sunny spells. Highs at 5 to 8C.

Saturday 10/3/18
Lower pressure to the southwest on Saturday allows a front to move north, bringing the risk of some heavier periods of rain through southern Ireland, Wales, central and southern England. Snow may affect the hills. The heaviest of the rain tending to be in the west. Drier and cooler in Scotland with some brighter spells here. Highs at 4 to 7C.

Sunday 11/3/18
The area of low pressure passes into the Uk on Sunday This brings a day of heavy showers or longer spells of rain to much of England, Wales and Ireland. Rain, sleet and some snow in much of Scotland. Highs at 4C in northern Scotland, 8 to 10C in much of England, Wales and Ireland.

Monday 12/3/18
Low pressure is going to be passing into the North Sea on Monday, introducing a more west to northwesterly flow. This brings a mix of sunshine and showers to many, although more persistent rain and some sleet or snow could affect northern Scotland. The risk of some cloud and rain in the far south of England too. Rather breezy with tops of 3 to 8C.

Tuesday 13/3/18
A cool northwesterly airflow is affecting the whole of the country through Wednesday. This is going to be bringing a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers will be merging to longer spells of rain in northern and western Scotland/ Highs at 2 to 7C.
