Becoming fresher with more unsettled weather next week

The hot weather of the past few days is going to be leaking away as temperature return to nearer normal value through the weekend and into next week. There will be some thundery showers around over the next couple of days before some patchy showery rain and fresher weather arrives at the weekend. next week is looking increasingly unsettled with strong winds, rain and showers for all.

Saturday 24/6/17
Low pressure reamins north of Scotland on Saturday. The remains of the cold front clear southeast England taking cloud and a few bursts of showery rain with it. Most areas then having a day of sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers may be more persistent across southern Ireland, Wales and the Midlands. Northern Scotland will be windy with gales in the northwest and frequent, heavy showers here. Top temperatures at 22C in southeast England, 12 to 18C elsewhere.

Sunday 25/6/17
The low passes north of Scotland again on Sunday. Showers and strong winds will be affecting much of Scotland throughout the day. England, wales and Ireland should be drier and brighter overall, although rain will arrive in western Ireland later. Highs at 15 to 23C.
 

Monday 26/6/17
Low pressure is expected to be creeping into Ireland on Monday. This leads to more unsettled conditions developing with cloud and rain slipping into Ireland and the west of the UK. More eastern areas are likely to be dry throughout. Highs at 24C in southeast England, 17C in Ireland and Scotland.
 

Tuesday 27/6/17
Low pressure is likely to be over the UK and Ireland on Tuesday. This brings an unsettled day with periods of rain or showers for many. Highs near 24C in the southeast, 17 to 20C elsewhere.

Wednesday 28/6/17
Low pressure remains over the country on Wednesday. This brings further unsettled conditions with rain or showers. It is hard to point out where most of the rain will be, although do expect some of it to be heavy. Tops at 15 to 20C.

Thursday 29/6/17
Little change on Thursday with low pressure remaining overhead. Further periods of rain and showers affecting all areas and feeling cool too. Tops at 14 to 19C.
