Not much sunshine this week

This week a strong jet runs south of Britain into Iberia developing deep areas of low pressure that run in across Britain. Their active weather fronts will give a very unsettled and very windy week to the country. Heavy spells of rain are likely along with plenty of heavy showers. Temperatures will be near normal but feeling chilly in rain and strong winds.

Wednesday 28/06/17
A cloudy day to come and windy in the east as low pressure lingers near East Anglia. Heavy outbreaks of rain are expected today. In the afternoon this tends to clear from Scotland but staying wet across England and Wales. Most laces will see further spells of rain into the evening and the night. Expect high of 14 to 20C.


Thursday 29/06/17
Very windy across Scotland and Northern Ireland today. It continues unsettled today with outbreaks of rain in the morning. In the afternoon this tends to turn more showery and these showers look locally heavy. Rain though may persist across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Expect highs of 15 to 20C.
 


Friday 30/06/17
An area of rain may affect northern parts of England through the day. Elsewhere expect a number of showers and some may be heavy. Most places turn drier into the evening and nigh with a good deal of cloud. Look for highs of 15 to 21C.

 
 
 


Saturday 01/07/17
With another area of low pressure running up towards Scotland, we can expect an increasingly windy day with rain into the north and heavy showers in the south. Strong winds may affect Britain overnight with rain and showers across northern areas and the south mainly dry. Expect highs of 14 to 20C.
 


Sunday 02/07/17
After a windy start, the winds tend to moderate through the day. A very showery day to come across Britain with a good deal of loud and limited sunny spells. The showers clear in the evening leaving a dry night. A chilly day with highs of 14 to 17C.

Monday 03/07/17
A front may brings# in some rain and drizzle to north western parts of Scotland. Some drizzle may also affect Irish Sea coasts. The rest of Britain may be dry today with the best of the sunshine in the east and the south. A warmer day with highs of 16 to 21C.
